CAN YOUR UMBRELLAS BE USED ON PATIOS?

Our umbrellas are designed to be used in the sand, but they do work very well with a typical stand/base in a stable setting. However, we do suggest reading our care instructions, and to not leave the umbrella out during high winds or rain. 

 

WHERE CAN I FIND A BASE/STAND FOR MY UMBRELLA?

Our umbrella poles are 32mm in diameter, and bases for this can be purchased at your local hardware store. To our knowledge, these generic bases/stands work well with South Pacific Shade umbrellas.

 

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

We are currently based in Northland, New Zealand. All products are shipped out from here.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY UMBRELLA?

Thanks to our premium fabric, our umbrellas can be spot cleaned using some warm soapy water.

When not in use, we recommend keeping your umbrella in its matching carry bag either indoors or under cover. Ensure you do not pack away your umbrella until it is completely dry.

DO YOUR UMBRELLAS HAVE A UPF RATING?

Yes, our umbrellas are made from fade resistant premium fabric with a UPF rating of 50+. This means over 98% of harmful sun rays are blocked by our fabric, so you can lie out all day knowing you and your family are sun protected.

 

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Once your order has been processed and shipped, a tracking number will be sent to your email. If you are having trouble tracking your order, please email hello@southpacificshade.co.nz for help.
